Former Okotoks Dawgs Player Has A New Mission

We all recall one of our favourite Okotoks Dawgs players TRod. 

Thomas Rodrigues was an infielder who played with the Okotoks Dawgs and billeted in our community for a four summers.  We would cheer him on and love him like one of our own in the community and he would always say that this place feels like home for him too. 

Just over a year ago - Thomas shared his heart on my show about his new found purpose and love for God and how He has changed his life.  This was not easy for him and I have always admired his courage and strength.  Today Thomas was back in High River and popped in with Kim Engbrecht to share encouragement with Narrow Road Home clients and what he's up to next. 

He's back at college in Niagara Falls New York with a new mission.  He is a part of the U.S. ministry Campus Crusade for Christ (in Canada it's called Power To Change).  He was involved with this organization as a student and now as a staff member.  He hopes to help those in college find their way.
