National Geographic gives two Foothills businesses a shout out

In a recent article posted on National Geographic's website, businesses in Turner Valley and Longview were featured.

From the Travel section it's posted under the title of 'Discover the Wild Province of Alberta'.

The Eau Claire Distillery in Turner Valley and the Longview Steakhouse were prominently featured.

They gave a bit of background on the Eau Claire Distillery as they shared some of its past history as a former brothel, a movie theatre and a bowling alley, from way back in the day. They've also won a number of awards for their spirits.

The Longview Steakhouse always gets a big shout out when called upon, still a popular restaurant that attracts people from all over southern Alberta.
