Yesterday was another great day for Canadians at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

Ponoka's Levi Simpson and Jeremy Buhler from Arrowwood placed 4th last night in Team Roping, moving them to second spot in the average.

Barrheads Kolton Schmidt and his American partner Shay Carroll finally made some money in sensational form taking first place last night with the fastest time of the rodeo in 3.6 seconds.

In Bareback, Orin Larsen placed for the fourth night in a row with a score of 86.5. He has now won over $62,000 over the last 4 days.  Jake Vold finished in fourth, which moves him into a third overall standing in the average, and 6th overall.

In Saddle Bronc, Big Valley's Zeke Thurston was unable to win any money last night with a 77.5 score, with Clay Elliot from Nanton and Jake Watson from Hudson Hope, BC. being bucked off.

However, Watson moves into the final night in first place in the average. Thurston is 3rd spot in the average.

Calgary Stampede sensation, Marry Burger heads into the final Barrel Racing round leading, but Amberleigh Moore from Oregon is right on her heels.
