300 athletes, along with their parents, coaches and fans are heading to Nanton for the next few days as the annual Canadian High School Rodeo Finals getting underway at the Nanton Ag Grounds.

Nanton Chamber of Commerce President Pam Woodall says the event is a winner for the Town.

"It's a massive event and the Nanton Ag Society does an amazing job. And it's been held here for a record breaking number of years, because normally it switches every three years. So, Nanton has done such a great job they keep holding it here."

The rodeo runs Thursday through Saturday at the Nanton Rodeo Grounds, with cowboys and cowgirls looking to score the big ride over 12 different events.

Go-rounds start each day at 8 A.M.
