The free Combine Optimization Tool was showcased at canolaPALOOZA at the Lacombe Research and Development Centre last week.

An Investment in Canada's Ginseng Industry

Canada is a global leader in the production of North American Ginseng.

The Federal Ag Minister announced an investment of over $360 thousand to the Ontario Ginseng Grower's Association.

Ginseng is Canada's largest field grown horticultural export with sales of over $228 million per year.

 

A Look at the Latest Provincial Crop Report

Crop conditions across Alberta took a bit of a hit last week.

Accourding to Alberta Ag and Forestry's latest crop report, there was a 4 per cent drop in crops rated as being in good to excellent condition.

Ag Dealer Expanding in Alberta

The Alberta Ag Centre is expanding.

The Centre is a full-line CLAAS dealer selling combines, forage harvesters, tractors and hay tools will set up a new location in High River.

High River will be the newest addition to Alberta Ag Centre which already has locations in Taber and Crossfield.
