Multiple media outlets are reporting China has suspended the canola export permits for a second Canadian company. 

According to reports, Chinese customs officials claim canola shipments from Regina-based Viterra Inc. contain the same dangerous pests found in shipments from Richardson International, which had its permits cancelled earlier this month. 

The Chinese ban on Viterra takes effect immediately.
