CN Rail is removing hopper cars from their network to put in short-term storage.

The rail company said, they've seen a decrease in demand for grains cars in Western Canada, which is typical for this time of year, and the cars will be available to put back on the tracks for any increase in orders.

Last week, CN met all their orders by delivering 4,941 grain cars, compared to their almost 6,158 weekly average in April.

CN said, they're getting ready to fulfill all their grain car orders again this week.
