After recently moving their office to High River, the Foothills Forage and Grazing Association is off to a busy start.

They held a Riparian Lands Management Course at the end of May, and on June 15th to 16th hosted a Range and Pasture Management Workshop.

Environmental and Communications Coordinator with Foothills Forage, Sonja Bloom, said they've got more events coming up including grazing school with Jim Gerrish in August happening in Fort Macleod.

"We look at what's new and happening in the industry and bring that information forward, so I definitely encourage producers to come and check out our events. They're always very well attended and very positive."

Bloom said, the events are also a great way to network with fellow grazers and ranchers.
