If you see a bunch of kids dressed head to toe in green today, it most likely means they're a 4-H member.

Wednesday, November 7 is show your 4-H Colours Day across Canada, and you can also look for landmarks like the CN Tower lit up in green to celebrate the youth program.

Other Alberta landmarks participating include the Calgary Tower, Calgary Reconciliation Bridge and Lethbridge City Hall.

4-H Canada is encouraging alumni, volunteers and government officials to also dig out their green clothing to show their support.

“Show Your 4-H Colours is the best possible way to share the positive impact 4-H has had on your life,” said 4-H Canada CEO, Shannon Benner. “We encourage everyone to get out into your communities and use social media to tell your story, so that others can learn about 4-H, its values, and our deep commitment to positive youth development.”

You can get involved on social media by using the #ShowYour4HColours hashtag to share your thoughts and experiences.

You can also visit the Show Your Colours website to find more information.
