Incumbent councillor for Foothills M.D. Division Two, Delilah Miller.

There are two people vying for the seat on Foothills M.D. council in Division Two.

One of those is incumbent councillor Delilah Miller, who's sat on the Ag Service Board, and says one concern is weeds that are coming into the area.

"We want to continue to be vigilant, do weed control, and we've got some mutual aid agreements with some of our partners outside of the municipality to control weeds."

Miller says, they're also working with the railway to make sure they do their part to keep things tidy and weeds to a minimum.

Keeping down the dust is another issue Miller wants to deal with if she's elected to council again.

"I'm pushing to get more permanent solutions on our roads to upgrade them to hard surfaces that are dust free."

Miller says, the M.D. has been great in allowing landowners the option to purchase additional dust control measures if they live in close proximity to a gravel road.

Terry Zimmerman is her lone challenger in the division.
