4-H on parade gave a warm welcome to the dairy show after a 20-year hiatus.

Thirteen year-old Shae Copithorne of Cochrane. capped the show winning Grand Champion with her September Holstein calf, Sevanna.

173 exhibitors presented their heifer entries to 4-H on parade judges at Stampede Park.

Organizers says the heifer show was the largest growth area.

The Reserve Champion Intermediate Purebred Showmanship winner was Ethan Gosling of Strathmore from the Irricana Beef & Multi Club.

Premier Award winner, Ryan Hodgson of the Millarville-Stockland Beef Club was the Senior Crossbred Showmanship champion.
  
In the Light Horse section it was a tie for club high point between the Arrowwood River Wranglers & High River Stetsons.
   
Reserve went to the Okotoks Outriders.

Over a thousand youngsters were at 4-H on Parade this year.
