Hundreds of 4-H members in the foothills will have their projects on display this weekend.

4-H on Parade runs until Sunday at Stampede Park. 4-H specialist Rob Smith says it's the largest event of its kind in the country and it just seems to get bigger and better. He says there isn't another showcase for 4-H project work in the province, in the nation or in fact across North America, explaining there would only be three or four state fairs that 4-H is involved with that would rival the sheer mass of youth and youth in action at Stampede Park this weekend. Smith says the projects being showcased include horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, rabbits, small engines and crafts. The public is welcome to come out and see the members in action.
