You know with the amount of rain we have had in the last couple of days I am thinking
Mother Nature needs to plan better next year for our area farmers. Very little or no rain
from July in to early September had my farmer buddies saying, "this was not planned well".
Next year moisture in the ground late April would be sweet with nice May weather for Spring
planting followed by intermittent showers the remainder of the summer in most local areas
would probably get a passing grade. I am asking folks I hope Mom Nature comes through.
The Farmer has a tough life there is no doubt about that but it is rewarding when a great
summer growing season is followed by a fantastic weather forecast for fall harvest.
The rain the last few days (although welcome) I am sure is bad timing for those trying to
wrap up harvest and I just wanted to let you know we're with you. Thank you for your efforts!
