Officials with the High River and District Health Care Foundation are calling the Cattlemen's Chautaugua another success.
Chairperson of the event Yvonne Tollens says they raised 47-thousand-500 dollars. She says the money will be put to good use.
They'll use the money to buy equipment to attract another surgeon to the hospital.
Seven thousand dollars was raised for local schools with the sale of handcrafted rocking calves.
Ten percent of that will go to the individual grade five classes that decorated the calves.
