Being a neighbourhood champion is well....easy.

An eight-year-old-boy proved that this weekend in about 15 minutes.

Kaiden Seeley cleans up garbage in his neighbourhood.

Many times in my eight short years of being a mother, this little boy has taught me so much. He's truly a gift.

This past weekend he had the flu all weekend....but Sunday afternoon he was feeling well enough to get some fresh air.  In that time he asked if it would be okay to clean up some garbage he saw around the neighbourhood.  I said, OF COURSE. So we suited him up with gloves and bags and out he went on his y-flicker to make a little difference on our street.

It took him about 15 mins to get the pile you see in this picture.

What do you think you and your family could do in your neighbourhood in 15 mins?

What if all took just 15 mins to do something?

Pretty amazing possibilities don't you think?

I challenge you to give it go.  Try something and let us know at suncountry@goldenwestradio.com - we'd gladly give you a champion shout out and encourage others to join in the fun!
