In the wake of a tragic holiday weekend accident, Vulcan RCMP have a caution for motorists.

Constable Matt Allan says with the harvest season beginning more farm machinery will be moving on Southern Alberta roadways and his best advice is assume the operator hasn't seen you.

"These are oversized vehicles, usually much wider than tractor trailers or that type of equipment on the roadway.  They do take up in some cases more than just the lane they are operating in and there is usually trafiic coming both ways"

Allan says motorists have to make sure that not only the operator of the farm equipment sees you, but other vehicles as well.
