Bews, Thomas Philip
March 26, 1925 – August 24, 2013

Philip Bews of High River passed away on August 24, 2013 at the High River Hospital at the age of 88 years.  Philip is survived by his wife Nellie; daughter Alice (John) Weston of Malaysia and son Jack (Rhonda) Bews of High River; grandchildren John Philip Weston, Shaelynn Nicole Bews and Cody Austin Bews.  

Philip was born in High River, Alberta to John & Alice Bews and completed all of his schooling in the area.  Philip married Nellie in 1956 and they lived on the family homestead where Philip was born.  They raised their children and ran a mixed farming operation up until their retirement when they moved into High River.  Phil was looking forward to the 100^th Anniversary of the Bews homestead next year.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 29^th at 11:00 a.m. at the St. James Catholic Church in Okotoks (338 Ave. and 32^nd Street East, Okotoks).
