The Carstar Okotoks Bisons took game two against the High River Brewing Co. Flyers 4-2 last night.

It ties up the HJHL round two best-of-five series at one game apiece and each team has a road win under their belts.

The Herd once again had their specialty teams locked down. They went 3 for 8 on the powerplay and killed off 6 penalties.

The Bisons opened the scoring in the first period with a powerplay goal from Brayden Kapty assisted by Lucas Watkins and Easton Dean. 

Brendan McKague scored unassisted for the Flyers in the second period to tie the game at 1-1 heading into the third period.

Then the Bisons scored at the 2:30 mark to take a 2-1 lead. It wasn't until Easton Dean would net one for the Bisons at 15:21 to stretch the lead to 3-1. Easton Weasel Head of the Flyers would score one less than 2 minutes later but Jake Snashall would secure the 4-2 win with only 38 seconds left in the game.

The two teams head to the Murray Arena in Okotoks for game three tonight (Feb. 27) at 8:15 with game four now finalized for Thursday night in High River with a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.  

If a game five is needed, it's in Okotoks on Saturday at 8 p.m.
