The Second Annual Roughstock Rumble is all set for action in Calgary this weekend.
The event features bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc events, with a purse of $10,000.
Organizer James Bruval said they're hoping to build on the success of last year's inaugural event.
"We had a great support in last years event, great turnout. We've tweaked it a bit, like everything else, you learn from your mistakes, and you make it so it's a better running event, it'll be a great time this year."
The Roughstock Rumble will see a new venue this year, as it'll be at the Max Bell Arena, rather than the Stampede Corral.
Bruval said although Max Bell is a bit smaller, it's optimal for viewing.
"Last year we saw almost 2000 people on the Saturday night. This year we're at Max Bell, it's a smaller venue, which means every seat is a great seat. You're nine rows up from the dirt all the way around."
Some tickets are still available for the event, and can be purchased on the Calgary Roughstock Rumble Website.
