Alberta Health Services is seeking volunteers to serve on their new Provincial Advisory Council.

The council will focus on cancer services and will give an opportunity to Albertans to give advice and insight on cancer issues.

The eight volunteers needed would have been touched by cancer as a patient or had a close relationship with someone who has.

Dr. Tony Fields of Alberta Health Services said among those eight, up to ten others will be chosen.

Albertans who are interested in sitting on council must submit an expression of interest form by May 24th.

Those forms are available at www.albertahealthservices.ca/communityengagement.asp .
