The province has passed the 250,000 mark for COVID-19 testing.

In preparation for Phase Two of the economic re-opening, Alberta Health is expanding testing to anyone in Alberta whether they have symptoms or not.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw says priority will still be given to those who have symptoms and those who've had close contact with someone who's had the virus.

Anyone who wants a test can make an appointment through the Alberta Health web site.

Twenty-four new cases have been diagnosed after 3,754 tests were done Thursday.

There are now 616 active cases in Alberta with 6,218 people who've recovered.

Fifty-five people are in hospital with four people in intensive care.

There have been no new deaths reported.
