Alberta has been affected by crystal meth addiction.
Next month the Provincial Government will release a report that focuses on early childhood prevention.
Drug Abuse Resistance Education Coordinator, CST Geoff Carpenter says he's in full agreement.
"Prevention, I think across the board in any faction whether it's drug abuse or any other kind of situation out there obviously prevention is the better way to go. Early intervention is paramont in terms of educating. If we can educate the people prior to possible usage then we're that much further ahead."
Carpenter says that there have been some local cases involving crystal meth but nothing like Northern Alberta has experienced.
