In my quest for 150 Cups of Coffee during Canada's 150th, I have made it to cup #9.

Jody Seeley and Sue Mueller

Today I sat to have a coffee with a local business owner who has a huge heart for her community. When it comes to helping others Sue never hesitates.  She recently celebrated a 2 year anniversary with her spa Coco Lux in High River.  In that time frame she has helped out a number of charities and families in our town.

Currently her staff and her are doing a Cinderella Project.  Helping youth get prepared for their graduation day without having to worry about not being able to afford the nice dress, the fancy shoes, the nails, the tanning, the everything, that young ladies look forward to with their special day.  Her storage room is getting filled up with donations to par-forward into the community.

If you have a grad dress, tux, shoes, accessories at home you're not using you can drop them off (clean) to Coco Lux during regular business hours.

If you are someone in need of assistance for graduation, pop in to see Sue and her staff.  They are all buzzing with excitement to be able to help you.

Sue mentioned to me at coffee "I really want everyone to be able to have their dream graduation and no one should feel ashamed to ask for help."  I asked her why she decided to take on a project like this and she mentioned it broke her heart as a Mom and citizen of High River to learn there were kids not going to go to their grad because they couldn't afford it.

Ok, with 9 cups down, that means I have 141 cups to go....I better get on this!!
