The Okotoks Dawgs are just one win away from their first WCBL title in 10 years.

They shook off the bus legs after the eight hour drive to Regina to hand the hometown Red Sox a 7-2 loss Thursday, August 15, at Currie Field.

Nolan Ruff was lights out on the mound for the Dawgs as the hurler went the distance giving up just two runs on seven hits while striking out five.

Sluggers Gavin Nolan and William Hollis did their part with a pair of RBI's each.

The Dawgs lead the best of three series one game to none and can wrap it up Friday, August 16, starting at 7:05 p.m. in front of the hometown fans at Seaman Stadium.
