The Okotoks Dawgs will put tonight's game in Brooks in the rearview mirror after falling 8-1 to the Bombers.

Quinn Tocheniuk made the start for Okotoks pitching two full innings and punching out three Bombers. Ryan McFarland, Chase Tucker, Brock Townsend, Easton Corey, and Trey Mackwood came in as relievers.

The Dawgs' only run would come at the top of the second when Nash Crowell hit a solo home run with the first at-bat of the inning.

The Bombers would accumulate all their runs in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Okotoks will continue their three-game road trip to Sylvan Lake to take on the Gulls at 7:05 tomorrow night.

The Gulls currently hold a half-game lead over the Dawgs for the top spot in the WCBL Western Division and are on an 11-game win streak.
