The Okotoks Dawgs put another one in the win column after dismantling the Bombers for the fifth time in the 2024 WCBL season.

The Dawgs would score double digits again on the Bombers winning tonight's game 11-4.

William Fife won the meeting between the two West Division teams, pitching in three full innings and then getting switched out with two outs in the fourth. Fife would earn three strikeouts while pitching from the mound.

Okotoks were in sync early as they got a double play in both the first and second innings.

The game would go scoreless until the bottom of the third inning where the Dawgs would get five runs across home plate.

Kadyn Williams got two RBIs to break the scoreless tie between Brooks and Okotoks. With both Lou Anderson and Brendan Luther on second and third base, after Luther hit a double to advance Anderson to third, Williams hit a single scoring both Anderson and Luther in for the first runs of the game.

Spencer Sullivan added two RBIs shortly after with bases loaded. A single to right field by Sullivan got Williams and Tucker Zdunich in for runs making the game 4-0.

Barry Eiseman was next up at bat and got the final RBI of the inning. A single to straight up centre field gave Nash Crowell enough time to score the final run of the inning.

The Bombers would get their first two runs in the top of the fourth and fifth, answering the Dawgs' five runs in the third.

Okotoks would get one back in the bottom of the fifth. Williams who has been on fire in the early parts of the season would steal home base on a Brooks wild pitch while Sullivan was up to bat.

Both teams wouldn't let a run in the sixth but the Dawgs racked up the runs in the seventh.

Crowell smacked one out of the park for a single run at the bottom of the seventh giving the Dawgs a 7-2 lead. Sullivan followed that up with a single leading to their second home run of the inning coming from Eiseman who was up to bat next.

Tucker Zdunich would hit the third home run in two innings for the Dawgs in the bottom of the eighth, putting the game completely out of reach.

Bombers would answer with two runs at the top of the ninth, but it wasn't nearly enough.

The Edmonton Prospects will be in Okotoks tomorrow, technically it's supposed to be an Edmonton home game according to the WCBL schedule, but the Dawgs will look to use their knowledge of Seaman Stadium to their advantage.

The first pitch is at 7:05 at Seaman Stadium.
