The Regina Red Sox beat the Okotoks Dawgs in the annual Canada Day game, 4-3 in 10 innings.

The stands were packed with a crowd of 4,889 people coming to see the game and the fireworks show afterwards.

The Dawgs fall to 15-9 and find themselves six games back of Medicine Hat for top spot in the WMBL West Division race.

They have a second game with the Red Sox Monday, July 2 at 7:05 p.m. at Seaman Stadium.
