The Okotoks Dawgs have made easy work of the Edmonton Prospects all season long, and today was no different with a 7-0 Dawgs win at Seaman Stadium.

The Dawgs and Prospects aren't done yet with another doubleheader tomorrow in Okotoks to finish off the five games in three days for the two teams.

The Dawgs have dominated the three games played so far with a 23-4 score combined.

Brock Townsend made the start on the mound in his first game of the season, he would get the win after pitching four innings, not allowing a single hit or run, and striking out two Prospects.

Ryan McFarland, Ashton Luera, Chase Tucker, and Aaron Hammer played as relievers. All pitchers combined punched out nine Prospects with strikes, only gave up 5 hits and only one walk. It was a solid night for the whole pitching staff.

The game would go scoreless until the bottom of the third when the Dawgs scored four runs in the inning.

High River's own Tucker Zdunich would hit a triple when the bases were loaded, getting Dawson Santana, Logan Grant, and Connor Crowson in for runs. Spencer Sullivan picked up an RBI in the inning after getting put out at first for second out but gave Zdunich enough time to make it 4-0 Dawgs.

Aidan Rose picked up two RBIs at the bottom of the fifth after hitting a single and getting Sullivan and Jarrett Burney in for runs.
