The High River Gift of Music cap off their season with one of Canada’s most celebrated youth choirs, the Calgary Girls Choir, Brava, under the direction of Elaine Quilichini.

Four-time winners of the CBC Choral Competition, Brava attracts international accolades and awards. From Vienna to the Vatican, these girls have a busy schedule with their numerous performances, tours, and recordings. The High River concert will feature a very special performance with a string ensemble of the profoundly moving baroque work, Stabat Mater by Giovanni Pergolesi.

Of course, our Young Musicians Extraordinaire concert would not be complete without High River’s favourite Eveyln’s Memory Lane ice cream. Join us post-concert to celebrate another season of fabulous music in High River!

Pickleball is sweeping Southern Alberta and the big tourney comes up in May.  Most days will find Pickleball nets up at the Cargill Fieldhouse.

Drop in and ask the players how much fun it is to play pickleball with their friends.   Brian Popowitch was in today telling us of the great spirit

the group has and that they always have room for more.  Young and old have really picked this sport up in our area, see what all the buzz is

about daily at the Cargill Fieldhouse.  Check the front desk for an opportunity to experience the game for yourself.  Click the link below for

details.
