The Foothills Composite Falcons will look or their 4th win in a row since dropping their season opener as they welcome the Centennial Rams out of Calgary to Falcons Field.

The Falcons are 3rd in the Tier II rankings going in.

Head Coach Darren Olson says they'll need to have a great start like they did in their 24-3 win over LCI last weekend.

"Our defence had seven turnovers in the game, so it was a really good effort there," he says. "Again this week playing against another Tier I school from the big city it's always something that our guys look forward too and is certainly going to be a challenge for us again."

With the offense starting to click for the Falcons, Olson has to credit his defensive switch in the off-season that's helped the team so far this year.

"We're playing a little different defence this year, our back nine guys as unit are one of the top units in province and we moved last year a 4-3 alignment on D and this year we're playing a 3-4."

Olson says the match-up with the Rams will something that can benefit their defensive backs and linebackers.

"Their offence fits well against us on our defensive side, and defensively they play a pretty basic 4-3, like to blitz their middle linebacker pretty regularly it basically comes down to athlete vs. athlete and who has the better game that night."

Kick-off is 7 o'clock under the lights on Friday.
