Thursday night is Sneak a Peak, but the Calgary Stampede officially kicks off this Friday with the parade.

Once again the Stampede has partnered with the Canadian Cattlemen's Association to present the International Livestock Congress the following Friday, July 10.

Rob Ncnabb with the CCA says never before has the industry imposed such sweeping and complex demands on those who would run a business and earn a living.

"Particularly in how science and innovation, whether it's in marketing or certainly in some of the production areas or technologies, that will support and advance the industry to the end it wants to meet", he says.

Mcnabb says registrations to the International Livestock Congress are still being accepted.
