The High River Flyers lost a close one in the Snakepit on Sunday, October 13.

The Coaldale Copperheads pulled off the 9-6 win but it came right down to the wire.

It was 7-6 for the Copperheads late in the 3rd period when they notched their eighth of the game on a powerplay before the Flyers pulled their goalie, however Coaldale scored an empty netter with 57 seconds left in the game.

Davyn LaRocke got the start in net for the Flyers but was pulled after giving up four goals and replaced with Max Johnston.

The Flyers ended up outshooting the Copperheads 41-40.

The Flyers now have a bye week and don't play until Saturday, October 26.

In other Heritage B Junior Hockey League action it was the Okotoks Bisons notching another win.  

They beat the Stettler Lightning 5-2 on Sunday, October 13.

The Bisons lead the league with an 8-0 record.
