Not a lot of change in the cost to run your natural gas bar-b-que in August.

Direct Energy has announced the August regulated natural gas rate is decreasing from the July rate of $4.08 per GJ  to $3.89 per GJ.

A typical residential bill for August should come in at about $51.00, about the same as July.
    
In August of last year the average residential bill was $43.00.
