Top of The Morning to You, I hadn't put together a story for you on my blog in the last little bit

so I felt it time today.  In my Blog I like to update you on events, my life happenings that may

interest you and local fun stories about great people.

Today I would like to summarize our little holiday from a while back.  Princess had never made it to

Niagara Falls in her young lifetime so away we went to Ontario and the Escarpment of Niagara.

The Main Street of Niagara Falls reminds me of The Vegas Strip at night.  With the low dollar value in Canada,

New York State plates can be found about 1 in every three vehicles.  I couldn't get over how many half

tons cruise the strip with the price of gas in that region.  We rented a car that went for miles on a  tank

of gas and that was the highlight of our trip for me. (just kidding)  We were entertained and well fed and

watered by our friends Lee and Herbie on our first night in the Falls and enjoyed a nice visit with our old

friends.  The Niagara Trillium Award winners of last year (for gardening) are incredible hosts and we hated

to leave that night.  The next part of our trip was a morning drive by of the Falls and then off to my Mom's near

Chatam Ontario.  There, we ate and enjoyed company of an awesome Sister and Mom along with awesome

family and my old friends, beginning with taking in The 61st Annual Alvinston to Watford Road Race (which is a half

Marathon)  My Aunt Gail put together a bit of a mixer and Tracy was able to see some people from my early life that

she had never met so that was fun.  Aunt Gail has always been a part of my life and the nice gesture of suggesting

a get together while we were home is just what she does.  I found out my cousin Karey and Trudy were contributors

to the food as well.  It was a great day, I love these people to the end of the world and back.  A meal with Mom or

two along with her pal Marty hosting us for pickerel and perch supper was another of the highlights of the trip.

My friends Jim and Shelly lost their Dear Mom Mrs. Holbrook while we were home and the sad part of that was not

getting to see them.  Our love goes to the Holbrooks. RIP Mrs Holbrook.  On our final day in Ontario while grabbing

lunch at the Toronto Airport we ran in to legendary Montreal Canadien Bob Gainey and that was pretty cool.  Following

is a pictorial look at our journey. (Minus Mr. Gainey's who didn't need to be photographed apparently)

(My bestie Miss Lyn, one of those friends that will always be there, we are three days a part in birthdays, she being the oldest!

We shared a ton in our formative years!)
