Statistics Canada has released its latest grain stocks report.
The report outlines the inventories of various crops as of December 31st, 2012.
The canola estimate is within the analysts' range of expectations at 7.4 million tonnes.
All-wheat stocks were pegged at 20.7 million tonnes, which was below trade estimates.
The StatsCan estimates for oats (1.9 million tonnes), soybeans (2.4 million tonnes) and flax (406 thousand tonnes) were also smaller than what analysts were expecting.
Barley supplies were pegged at 5.1 million tonnes.
Traders are also awaiting the USDA's latest supply/demand data, which will be released on Friday.
