Small Business Week is upon us.

Lisa Szabon-Smith says after the last couple of years, the High River Chamber executive will be getting out and reacquainting itself with the community.

"We'll have our chamber board of directors and myself going around town and we will be introducing ourselves to the businesses and saying hello and giving an update and package of what the chamber offers reintroducing the chamber to High River," she says.

There are a couple of sessions coming up in the chamber's speaker series.

The first is November 20th in Nanton at the Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre and features graphic design firm Freshly Pressed from High River.

"I think it'll be more of a workshop environment so you get to be interactive and not just listen to somebody talk to you, you get to be involved as a participant so that'll be a lot of fun."

The last brings six businesses together from Okotoks, High River and Nanton to talk about collaboration.

It'll be held at the Sheppard Family Park barn on December 5th.
