It's going to be a busy day in High River on Saturday.

Fire Chief Cody Zebedee says the fire hall is going to be open for residents to take a look around.

"We're going to have a bunch of our local agency reps, so folks from ATCO Gas, RCMP, our FCSS folks, having various pamphlets and brochures that we can pass along to the community to help them be prepared in the event of an emergency."

He says any residents who'd like to see their relatively new digs is more than welcome to come out and check it out.

Zebedee says there'll be a barbeque, tours and they'll talk about emergency preparedness.

The hall will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
