High River council has awarded a contract for property management of the Charles Clark Medical Centre.

The Town acquired the Medical Centre in October of last year.

The property management contract was awarded to Edon Property Inc., a company with experience providing property management for other government services.

The three-year contract pays Edon $113,283.99 per year, excluding GST and any potential additional annual operational requirements.

Costs are passed on to the CCMC tenants through rent terms in their lease agreement.

The Town will review costs and make adjustments as required for 2025 after a full year of operations.

The Town says hiring a property management company is an important step to ensure continued property management services with minimal impacts to CCMC tenants, and that high-quality medical services continue to be provided to the community.

Edon invites qualified applicants to apply for the newly created position of Operations Manager.
