If you're planning on watching the Calgary Stampede parade on Friday keep your eyes and ears on the actual Calgary Stampede float.

Sarah Curle from High River will be singing her heart out on it. She is thrilled for the opportunity.

"This will be the very first time that I actually get to sing on the Calgary Stampede float for the main Calgary Stampede parade. Pretty stoked about that!"

But it's not her first rodeo, so to speak, she's also sang on another float at past Calgary Stampede parades.

"I've done the Stampede First Nations parades. If done those for a long time. I love it, it's amazing every single time I get to do it.  I'm always thankful that they invite me to do that."

And she'll also be performing on another stage later on during Stampede.

"One stage I'm actually going to be singing on, on July 10th (Sunday) at 3:00 p.m., is the Windows on the West stage. And that's in the BMO Centre and John Feels is going to be playing alongside with me there."

The Calgary Stampede parade gets underway at 9:00 a.m. on Friday July 8.

Reminder, there's free admission to the Stampede grounds after the parade from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
