Shauna Oseen has been disqualified as a UCP contestant in the Livingstone-Macleod constituency.

Oseen announced on her Facebook yesterday that she was no longer running.

Hi all,

I regret to inform you that I have been disqualified from the MLA nomination process.

I began down this path to help make a difference, and although this outcome is disappointing, it does not lessen my desire to be a voice, to show up, and to speak up. I will continue upholding the interests of the riding to the best of my ability.

First, I want to express my profound gratitude to my team and supporters. Words cannot express how much you all mean to me for stepping forward, for going above and beyond in your steadfast belief in me, and for the countless hours spent and the many laughs we shared.

To the amazing people in this riding, my family, my friends... my people, I appreciate your enormous response and support, kind words and just for who you are. You've all made my heart so big.

Meeting new people along the way and jumping back into some old crowds from my past have been one of the greatest pleasures of my life.

I look forward to staying connected and involved in forging ahead to keep our conservative values alive. We can all make a change in many ways by standing tall together.

I appreciate you all and thank you immensely for your support.

The three other people that are running for the nomination are:

  • Chelsae Petrovic
  • Don Whalen
  • Tanya Clemens
