Town's around Calgary have been hit by the building boom and, like the city, affordable housing is hard to come by. Mayor Les Rempel says High River is no different. He says young families especially have a tough time getting into the housing market, especially with housing prices jumping as much as they have.
Classic Construction plans to bring a project to High River that's similar to one they built in Medicine Hat.
It'll be built east of the Hampton Hills development.
