HTA coach takes on additional role

The only head coach the Holy Trinity Academy Knights football team has known is taking on another role.

Football Alberta has named Matt Hassett head coach of the U17 Provincial Team.

In a release, the organization says Hassett has taken the Knights from a startup program at the Tier IV level to one of the premier programs in Tier II.

Hassett has served as an assistant coach with the Team Alberta U17 and Team Alberta Hawaii programs in the past.

The Knights have advanced to the Tier II South Final this Saturday against Cochrane at Shouldice Park in Calgary.
