A Seattle housing concept is headed north to High River.
Town council's approved a land use change for an eight-unit development at the end of 6th Avenue, between Center and 1st Street east.
Ken Staves explained to councillors the unique design will work even though it's not 20-feet back from the street as is now the rule.
He admits it'll be very close to the sidewalk, but it's very close to a green space at the end of the cul-de-sac.
The units will feature elevators in each unit and will re-use run-off from eavestroughs for irrigation.
Terry Baker says four of the eight units have already been sold.
