The High River Hutterites have been making money at local farmers' markets for over twenty years. Barbara Hofer with the colony says they sell up to $5,000 worth of produce each week.
She says all the food is made or grown on the colony. She says they work up to 18 hours a day to make enough food to sell and feed themselves. Hofer says they can and freeze in the summer so they have fruit and vegetables all winter.
