I spent the beautiful day outside in Olde Town Okotoks where there was so much going on!

Everywhere I turned, there was something to do or see!  Being the first Saturday of the month, the First Saturdays Festival was going on.  Tons of vendors, a fencing demonstration and live music occupied most of the morning.  I bought myself some really pretty rings : D  Remember, this is a festival that happens on the First Saturday of every month...if the weather is cooperating of course.

A little further down the street the Country Fair was taking place.  They started the day off bright and early with a pancake breakfast in Lions Park.  Then at 10:00am, the cutest thing I've ever seen, a pet parade!  Lots of dogs dressed in adorable little costumes!  The highlight of the morning though was definitely the Chili Cook Off.  The smells coming from Elk Street were incredible and the chili itself was amazing!  There were also wagon rides going throughout the town...I was unaware of this till one scared me lol.  Lots of kids games and activities as well.
