What a busy day!  I attended three different events all over High River!

The morning was spent at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex where the High River Community Garage Sale was happening.  There were lots of vendors and so many unique items!  If you're starting a family, this was definitely the place to check out!  Lots of well priced furniture and baby products.  There were also planters who's proceeds were going towards High River High School students who took trips to Belize and Ireland.

At the same time, just outside the doors, the Motorcycle Ride for Dad took off.  There were 17 bikers who rode all over the Foothills today, picking up other bikers and eventually ending in Olds.  The ride was for Prostate Cancer Awareness and by the end they estimated 300 bikers would be in the pack.

After sending the bikers off, I made my way to the High River Airport for Young Eagles Day.  Young Eagles Day is an International event where kids 6-17 get to take a free flight and ground school.  Since its inception, the organization has flown 1.6 million kids worldwide!  There were 138 kids who flew today!

What a FUN day!
