During the 2011 Calgary Stampede, you can kick start your morning with Fluor Rope Square at the Olympic Plaza in Calgary.

There's so much to do!  They've got live music, native dancers, horse drawn hay rides, free ice cream and crazy competitions like Lammle's Hat Stomping.  This competition gives participants 30 seconds to tear an old cowboy hat into as many pieces as possible, the catch, at the end of the 30 seconds the cowboy hat must somehow be placed back on the participant's head!

Early in the morning they're also serving up delicious and unique pancakes for breakfast.  How are these pancakes unique?  Well, they're cooked with bacon!  Yep, the bacon is cooked right into the pancake!  Yummy!

The Fluor Rope Square runs daily from 9:00am till 1:00pm on weekdays and 12:00pm on weekends.
