The Holy Trinity Academy Knights look to put right what went wrong exactly one year ago, when they lost the Provincial Tier II Football title to the Lloydminster Barons.

They're back in the big game Friday, November 22, when they face the Austin O'Brien Crusaders down in Raymond.

Knights Coach, Matt Hassett says they just need to take that final step.

"It's been a long year but a very good year. Obviously when the team goes 10-and-0 and you're in the provincial finals for the second straight year. It's really a testament to our coaching staff and the players and the dedication they put in.

Hassett says this year it's more a case of taking care of business than being excited about just being there.

"There is a bit of excitement obviously. The kids really want to do something special and kind of knock down that door that we knocked on last year. We have a very tough Austin O'Brien team in front of us. You know, like I said to them all year, it's about us. So, what we do is if we play our best, I like our chances."

Hassett, says they have one job if they want to beat the Crusaders.

"We've got to stop the run. They're a very big team. They run the ball very well behind a big offensive line. That's one thing we've been able to do with almost every team this year. No one's been able to run the ball against us consistently. If that holds true, we should be OK."

Kick-off is 7 o'clock at Comet Stadium.
