The Lomond Lakers are still looking for their first win of the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League season.

They're in Cochrane and Didsbury Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20 to take on the Generals and Mountainview Colts.

Coach, Greg Honess, says they remain a work in progress.

"We've still got a few changes and few different guys showing up. So, yeah, it kind of feels like we're in a state of transition, seems like."

Honess, says what's really hurting them is an inability to light the lamp.

"After the High River game we just talked about a few things and came out against Stettler and had a really solid game we thought. We haven't been "blown," blown out. Our work ethic is there, we're just not good enough around the net."

The High River Flyers have an off weekend, while the Okotoks Bisons head to Sylvan Lake Friday and Cochrane Saturday.
