New perks for Foothills EMS Patients. The Foothills Regional Emergency Medical Services Foundation recently received portable defibrillators for the life support bike team, regular defibrillators for two local high schools, as well as bone injection guns for ambulances.
President Theresia Berry says EMS goes beyond the basics.  "Our foundation does a lot to add the nice-to-haves, not necessarily the need-to-haves," she said.
"It's not capital stuff that we're buying, but things that just make us one step above our other counterparts in other areas."
Berry says the money came from casino nights, grants and customer donations.
